Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Jaapla’s websites, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Jaapla, you agree to these Terms.

Jaapla is an AI-powered shopping intelligence layer. We help you research products, compare options across connected marketplaces, and understand trust and price signals. Jaapla is not a marketplace: we do not hold inventory, process checkout payments, or fulfill orders.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to scrape partners at scale, or violate these Terms.

When you choose to buy, Jaapla may redirect you to a third-party marketplace (for example Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Zalora, SHEIN, or Temu). That purchase is solely between you and the marketplace or seller. Their terms, shipping, returns, and payment policies apply. Jaapla is not a party to those contracts.

Jaapla may earn a commission when you complete a qualifying purchase after following an affiliate or tracked link from the Service. Commissions do not increase the price you pay. Rankings and recommendations are intended to reflect product fit, trust, and value — not solely commission rate.

Recommendations, review summaries, seller scores, and price insights are informational. They may be incomplete when marketplace APIs do not provide data. Do not treat Jaapla output as a guarantee of authenticity, availability, or the lowest possible price.

You may not reverse engineer the Service for competing scrapers, overload our APIs, misrepresent affiliation with Jaapla, or use the Service for unlawful activity.

Jaapla branding, software, and original content are owned by Jaapla or its licensors. Marketplace product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or error-free AI output.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jaapla is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from marketplace purchases, shipping delays, or seller conduct. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of fees you paid us in the prior three months or PHP 2,000.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila, unless mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
